Gracias Madre Book

Tara Benmeleh, Miami native and chajin (tea server) wrote a bilingual children's book, “Gracias Madre” illustrated by local artist Tierra Armstrong, and translated by Agustina Woodgate. This book was created as a tool to inspire children to cultivate their connection to the earth. It is meant to spark their appreciation for nature, while simultaneously expanding their mind through exposure to a second language.

The artwork throughout Gracias Madre illustrates children of various backgrounds as well as various animals, trees, and even depictions of children practicing meditation. As a mother, wife, author Tara Benmeleh roots her family and cultivates community around wellness.
